At the last automatica trade fair in Munich, we dropped a bombshell and presented our latest drive: the electric actuator. This combines electrical drive technology with maximum efficiency, flexibility, and ease of maintenance, setting new standards in the range of linear drive solutions.

Electric actuators are becoming increasingly important in industry when it comes to precise linear movements – whether in automation technology or mechanical engineering.
With their robust design, high power density, and easy integration into existing systems, electric actuators help make production processes more efficient and sustainable.
But what makes it so special? Inside our electric actuator, a specially developed and sophisticated ballscrew ensures precise linear movements. Together with a connected electric motor, this technology guarantees precise controllability, positioning and repeat accuracy, speed and force.
Thanks to versatile screw mounting and centering options, the cylinder can be integrated very easily. Optional slide guides, which can also be retrofitted or replaced, increase system stability and reduce the load on the drive.
“We have not only developed a new product, but also a powerful industrial all-rounder. Our electric actuator appears to be the same, yet it is unique. Not only functional aspects were important to us, but also emotional and social aspects such as aesthetics and sustainability were close to our hearts during development,” says Ilja Dreher, HIWIN's development manager for the new electric actuator.
